In Belgium, most people stick with their bank out of pure habit. They rarely question whether their money could be working harder somewhere else. But in reality, there are very few reasons, if any, to keep all your savings with just one bank.

Through a mix of video and radio, we tell the exaggerated story of someone who will diversify or switch banks because “my banker once saved me from 3 grizzly bears.” It’s deliberately over the top, sarcastic, and funny. Showing that unless your banker really did save your life, there’s no real reason not to explore smarter savings options.

By leaning into this irony, the campaign cuts through the financial category’s usual seriousness. It challenges Belgians to rethink their loyalty and consider NIBC as the smart, no-nonsense choice for online savings.
